Albert and Dorothy were married in a civil ceremony on August 2nd, 1916 in Pershore, Worcester by C F Stratton and witnessed by Henry Thomas Izod, MLJ Waters.1
Marriage/Union Notes
At time of Marriage Albert was living in Charlton, Pershore and was a Private in the Oxford & Bucks Regiment. Dorothy was living in Fladbury, Pershore
They had three sons and two daughters, named <Unknown>, <Unknown>, Maurice, Gladys and <Unknown>.
She died at the age of 83 on September 3rd, 1978 in Ronkswood Hospital, Worcester. The funeral took place on September 8th, 1978 in Fladbury Church and was arranged by Edwin Hill, Funeral Directors, Pershore. She was buried on September 8th, 1978 in Fladbury Churchyard.

Birth Certificate states Dorothy is now the wife of Albert which would indicate that Gladys was born before they married. He was in the Army which may have something to do with it.
