Albert Sutton

Albert was born on March 24th, 1884 in Upton-on-Severn, Worcester.¹   Albert's father was James Sutton and his mother was Eliza Ricketts.  His paternal grandparents were John Sutton and Ann Webb or Green. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Bertie, Caleb, Eva and No Name (Daughter).  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 79 in 1963.

  From 1901 Census: He was aged 17 and single.  2 Fern Villa, Gt Malvern, Worcestershire
  From Birth Certificate of son Raymond in 1914 his address was 2 Western Cottage, West Hills Road, Malvern Link and he would have been 30 yrs old.
  In 1940 his address was Rosendale, Lambank, W. Malvern.  Gladys and Raymond also lived here and Dave was born at this address.
