James Lumsden

James was born on April 2nd, 1873 in Monimail, Fife, Scotland, UK.¹   James' father was John Birrell Lumsden and his mother was Janet McCallum.  His paternal grandparents were David Lumsden and Jean Arnot; his maternal grandparents were John McCallum and Christina McDonald. He had a brother and two sisters, named David, Christina and Jean.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died from cancer, Carcinoma of Prostate, Arteriosclerosis, at the age of 77 on December 15th, 1950 in Westerton Arms Hotel, Bridge of Allan.²

  Info from Mum_ -He kept bulldogs and stayed in Spittal Street for a while.
  He lived with a woman out of wedlock before eventually marrying
