David Drysdale

David was born on December 7th, 1807.¹   David's father was David Drysdale and his mother was Jean Dempster.  His paternal grandparents were William Drysdale and Euphan Tower; his maternal grandparents were William Dempster and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Laurence, Euphemia, Elizabeth, Jean, Margaret, Agnes, Isobel and Mary.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Riding accident, went over a cliff at Castle Campbell, at the age of 10 on May 2nd, 1818 in Castle Campbell, Dollar Glen.
