Jim was born in 1898.

Birth Notes

Jim's father was Henry Allan and his mother was Isabella Hunter. His paternal grandparents were Henry Allan and Devina Cook; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Hunter and Mary Gray. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Joseph, Robert, Mary, <Unknown>, Ina, Isabella , Jeannie and Elspeth. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 80 in 1978.
