Isabella  was born on August 13th, 1900 in Orchard Street, Camelan, Falkirk and her baptism took place on March 7th, 1920 in Tillicoultry conducted by Reverend J T Hall.1  Isabella 's father was Henry Allan and her mother was Isabella Hunter.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Allan and Devina Cook; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Hunter and Mary Gray. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Joseph, Jim, Robert, Mary, <Unknown>, Ina, Jeannie and Elspeth.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  She died due to a medical problem, Gangrene of Leg and Generalised Atherosclerosis, at the age of 77 on May 7th, 1978 in Sauchie Hospital.2
